As Salesforce moves away from the traditional Profile led approach and adds more functionality to Permission Sets, now is the time to future proof our solutions with a permission set led security model. In this session I will talk about the recent changes, the new features, and the roadmap. We will look at what we will still need profiles for, and importantly, how to design and build an access model which is tailored, scalable, and streamlined, using permission sets and permission set groups.
