In today’s demanding environment, leaders face the challenge of managing not only knowledge and skills but also their own energy and well-being, which directly impacts the effectiveness of their teams. During the presentation, we will explore the concept of neuroleadership – a new perspective on leadership based on understanding the functions of the brain and managing energy and motivation. I will show how managing one’s own energy affects decision-making quality, efficiency, and the engagement of the entire team. We will also discuss what team energy is and how a leader can strengthen it to support engagement and achieve common goals. In the context of life-long learning, we will talk about building resilience – the ability to cope with challenges and adapt to changes – as an alternative to continuously diving into new topics. Rather than accumulating ever-increasing amounts of knowledge, it is important to focus on developing flexibility and resilience, which is the foundation of effective, sustainable leadership. During the lecture, you will learn from real-world project examples. I will present techniques that I personally use, combining many years of management experience with being a yoga teacher.
