Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC) is a powerful e-commerce platform that enables global brands to deliver personalized, consistent, and delightful shopping experiences across channels. From the very beginning it was engineered to handle massive traffic and high transaction volumes – offering the security, scalability, and resiliency teams need to run mission-critical storefronts at scale. SFCC provides the full set of tools required to design, build and operate modern commerce.
In this presentation, we’ll cover both the business and the technical view. We’ll outline the supported business models, then go “under the hood” to explain key platform concepts such as the POD and Realm architecture and the core building blocks that every e-commerce site relies on. Finally, we’ll connect the dots across the Salesforce ecosystem – showing how SFCC plugs into Order Management, Marketing Cloud, MuleSoft and other Salesforce products to create end-to-end commerce flows.
